Non-Profit Leadership and Management
I have worked for non-profit organizations for the vast majority of my career. For the last five years, I have served them in administrative roles.
Educational Program Design and Implementation
Before I took over the After School Program at the Arts and College Prep Academy, the program served 18 students, only five of whom were considered to be full-time by USDOE attendance rules, with an average daily attendance of six students.
After three years of my leadership, the program was serving over 160 students, 80 of whom were full-time students, with an average daily attendance of 40 students.
Data Collection and Analysis
For the After School Program, I created an Excel spreadsheet which tracked student demographics, individual student attendance by workshops, charted overall attendance patterns, and more.
Furthermore, I used this spreadsheet to collect and analyze student academic achievement, both overall and for demographic subgroups.

Multi-Cultural Collaboration
I have lived in three different countries and worked with supervisors, peers, and students from a variety of cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.
Budgeting and Resource Management
- I have set and maintained the budgets for several programs, the largest of which had a $200,000+ annual budget.
Public Speaking
- I delivered the commencement address for The Arts and College Prep Academy's 2014 Graduation to an audience of over 500 students, parents, and staff members.
One-on-One and Small Group Tutoring
- I ran an academic intervention program providing one-on-one and small group tutoring to students who were at a high risk of failure.
Classroom Teaching
- I taught high school level math, English, and government for four years in two different countries.
